Ottawa, December 2018 –
In her new body of work, Leslie Hossack explores the world of Danish painter
Vilhelm Hammershøi (1864-1916) who is best known for his poetic and muted interiors.
Her examination begins in the rare book collection at the National Gallery of Canada
which holds the 1918 publication pictured below. Hossack will then follow
the trail to Hammershøi’s Copenhagen.
